VixCamps Spring Cleaning Time!

April 11-15 (Wed-Sun) 2018
* * * WORK during the day – JAM at night * * *

Join fellow friends and Vix Camps alumni as we prepare Wooten Woods for the upcoming camp season. Bring your skills and enthusiasm as we build, paint, clear, mow, decorate, and do what’s needed to ready the property for the year’s festivities.

Every month from April through October, students and instructors will come from around the world to produce and experience the life-changing magic Vix Camps has become known for. Having set the precedent back in the year 2000, these camps have positively impacted the lives of thousands. You can help us continue by joining us as we prepare for our 19th season.

You MUST RSVP for this event!

Victor Wooten's Center For Music and Nature

Victor Wooten’s Center for Music and Nature seeks to enrich the lives of people of all ages from around the world by providing educational programs that foster knowledge, self-reflection, confidence, and proficiency in the arts. Through highly interactive programs on topics such as music, nature, teaching, and creativity, we aim to enhance our students’ abilities in these specific areas with tools that can be used to enrich their personal lives as well.

Located on the Duck River outside Nashville, TN, the peaceful and natural environment provides a perfect backdrop for introspection, discovery, and community— all of which help students identify and appreciate their individual greatness and potential.

“What does the world need with just another good musician? We have plenty. What the world needs are good people!” ~ Dorothy Wooten

Adhering to the wisdom of Victor’s mother, our unique programs are laced with discussions, games, and exercises designed to open our minds to new ideas and awaken our senses in ways that not only enhance our musical lives, but our personal ones as well. We believe that the time spent improving any skill or craft should also improve our character in ways that help make us (and those around us) “good people.”

Invest In Victor Wooten’s Center for Music and Nature

Just think about what it takes to build and run a camp, and we are probably in need of just that: buildings, cabins, carpets and rugs, tables and benches, chairs, windows, window coverings, shower curtains, toilets, everything! Your generous contribution helps provide opportunities for students to move forward towards the development and achievement of their goals. Victor Wooten’s Center for Music and Nature is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. Your tax-deductible donation is greatly appreciated!
