In 1991 Wooten took his first class in Nature Awareness, Survival, and Animal Tracking with renowned tracker and educator, Tom Brown Jr.. Wooten states, “That class changed my life!” Victor continued studying with Brown for the next ten years and continued a close friendship with him until Brown’s recent death. Tracking is the doorway into an advanced world of awareness, and this awareness has helped propel Wooten into becoming one of the leading forces in the world of music.
